Professional Summary

I am a self-motivated, energetic, and dynamic profession with 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, wireless research, and computer networking. I completed my Ph.D. from WINLAB, Rutgers University (CGPA: 4.0/4.0) in May 2020 with my research focused on mobile edge computing and virtual networks. I have two Master's degrees, one in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University (CGPA: 4.0/4.0; Outstanding Master Student of the Year award), and another from IIT Kharagpur in Wireless Communications (CGPA: 9.22/10). I am a gold medalist and university topper in B.Tech earned from Dr. MGR University in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

I have previously worked at Samsung as a Lead Engineer in LTE networking team and Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) where my R&D role led to multiple IEEE papers and patents. I am also a recipient of the Creative Lab and Innovation (C-Lab) contest at Samsung. I have worked as an assistant professor for a year teaching wireless communications to the B.Tech undergraduates and supervising M.Tech projects.

During my Ph.D., I am a recipient of many awards such as research assistantships (2016-2020), Bell Labs outstanding achievement award in the robotic orchestration UnixWorld challenge, NSF travel grant for Symposium on Edge Computing 2018, 2019 and Infocom 2019, school of graduate studies conference travel award, first place winner at the Juniper Comcast SDN Throwdown event, best paper award at the IEEE ANTS, AT&T VURI (Virtual University Research Initiative) fellowship, Rutgers professional development fund award, best poster award at ECE, best teaching assistant of the year award and 3MT finalist. I have a good research publication record.
